Debate 2017: Government and Sector BTC

The population of India has gradually taken Bitcoin as one of its most important currencies. The struggle to legalize Bitcoin and other criptocoins has been a journey of ups and downs, because in March the Indian president delegated a commission to study the possibilities of regulating Bitcoin and make it part of the Constitution of the republic.

At first the aspirations of the population were enormous; however, the government issued statements that tempered these expectations, as it proclaimed that this currency was a trap, stating that it was a deceptive method, and it was a currency for terrorist and pirate transactions on the internet.

This did not go down very well with the users of Bitcoin, let alone the most important companies of India, like Zebpay, Coinsecure, Unocoin, Bitxoxo and more. The pressure of the Indian citizens and the popularity boom of Bitcoin were factors of such magnitude that forced the Government to continue studying the panorama to make of BTC an official currency within its country, following the example of countries like: Russia, Canada, China, Netherlands and others.

This month of July it was planned that the commission appointed by the Hindu country's ruler would give concrete and official statements, and this did not happen; however, the Minister of Finance of India, Arun Jaitley, has spoken about this open debate, which has become tense, but democratic, between the Government and the Bitcoin companies.

Jaitley said that more money is needed than cash, since this meant an improvement in the country's economic and financial system. These statements stunned and exasperated Bitcoin's agencies in India, due to the opportunity to legalize Bitcoin in India, thus making a leap to a much larger scale.

These assertions came after that Zebpay and Coinsecure saw the number of users they own increased to exorbitant levels, so that Bitcoin's popularity is indisputable today.
